The disaster of TSUNAMI ans terrible accident of NPS F-1 invaded on 11th March 2011 to FUKUSHIMA pref.
However, the disaster by NPS accident damages ware limited central coast part of Fukushima pref.
Now a day, the average traveler can visit South and North coast area and all of ABUKUMA plateau.
AUKUMA preteau made by granite but there was huge volcano covered in 0.6 million years ago at north ABUKUMA.
The huge volcano was eroded by streams and weathering.
So it maker form of flat high land and firmly active fault at east side.
The broth side of north AMUKUMA plateau have unique natures,.
One is flat estuary MASUKAWAURA that have variety and unique environment with flat culture field on front to pacific ocean .
Of cause at north coast area of FUKUSHIMA pref. SOMA had damage by TUMAMI.
However now,we can enjoy the fruit picking again at reconstructed Strawberry Farm.
TSUNAMI had left many of emotional human story.
We can have act of that time from act story teller at "MI chi no eki (Road station) Souma" leaning facility.
On the other hand west side of ABUKUMA plateau have fault made basin "Fukushima basin"
that have historical spa resort "IIZAKA onsen" that have many episode and specific culture of old days.
as same time easy this is access onsen resort from Fukushima city that is capitol of Fukushima prefecture.
